The music I work out to varies day to day.
Today, a song popped up that I hadn’t heard in quite a while – Whitey Morgan And The 78’s cover of “I’m on Fire” by Bruce Springsteen. That song has been covered so much over the years; actually too much if we’re being honest.
It’s a great song by one of the American greats.
About 10 years back, Whitey Morgan And The 78’s released their version, taking a classic and re-imagining it into something completely unique. It’s country as dirt, it’ll make you think of Waylon as many pointed out, and it’s as kick-ass of a throwback as you’re gonna find.
Put this one on, pour a glass of whiskey, and enjoy.
